In December 2024, we curated "30 Chocolate Years - A Love Story," an exhibition dedicated to celebrating Chocolate Skateboards. Hosted in the arts district of Los Angeles, the show highlighted selections from Chocolate's extensive archive, including boards, photographs, original artwork, and unique artifacts. In partnership with the exhibition, Nike and Chocolate Skateboards organized an eBay auction to support Deckaid.

This October we had the honor of curating Girl Skateboards’ Three Decades of Girl exhibit in celebration of their 30 year anniversary. The show took place in LA’s arts district and featured selections from Girl’s expansive archive of boards, photos, original art, and ephemera. In addition, Girl Skateboards held an eBay auction in conjunction with the exhibition benefiting Deckaid.

On May 6, 2023 the Deckaid exhibit descended upon the Albany Barn in collaboration with Seasons Skateshop. Collectors Tim Anderson (@Bobshirt) and John Arbuckle curated a wall of over 125 skateboards and original art. The show’s special feature “Film to File” was an evolution of NY skateboarding photography featuring work by Charlie Samuels, Giovanni Reda, Ben Colen, and Trevor Culley. Legendary artist Jeremy Fish created a custom Albany inspired board graphic, with a nod to Kenny Reed’s 1st New Deal graphic. A portion of the show’s proceeds benefited Skate for Drew, as well as Noteworthy Resources.

On June 4th 2022, Deckaid is coming to Columbus Ohio’s Bridge Gallery at 400 West Rich from 7-10 pm, with a suggested donation of $20. The show is a carefully curated exhibition of multiple skateboard collections, and will feature an Alien Workshop retrospective, as well as special exhibitions by John Lucero, Jay Croft, Mother, Donny Humes, Lookback Library, and more. A portion of proceeds will benefit Huckleberry House, a safe house for youth in Columbus.

Deckaid Tampa, sponsored by Vans, was a collaboration with SPoT for Tampa Pro on February 28, 2020 at AIA Tampa Bay to benefit Boards for Bros. The show featured the collections of Tim Anderson and Nick Halkias, as well as a Tampa Pro tribute by Lookback Library. Sean Cliver created a throwback Clyde Singleton graphic for our collaboration with Strangelove Skateboards which premiered at the show.

Deckaid Chicago, a collaboration with Uprise Skateshop, was held on May 18, 2019 at the House of Vans to benefit After School Matters. The show featured the collections of Tim Anderson, Rich Schroeder, Jesse Geboy, Uprise, and Brendan Seebach, as well as the 41 Years of the Ollie Lookback Library exhibit. Marc McKee created a custom Chicago tribute/ Jesse Neuhaus graphic titled “Unstoppabull” for the show.

Deckaid New Jersey was held on February 17th, 2018 at Proto Gallery in Hoboken. All proceeds from the show were given to the nonprofit Boards For Bros, a national organization that is fully committed to providing equipment, safe skate spots and mentoring for youth in our communities.

Deckaid Washington D.C. was held on April 1st, 2017 at The Fridge. All proceeds from the show were given to Martha’s Table a D.C. based organization that works to support strong children, strong families, and strong communities by increasing access to quality education programs, healthy food, and family supports.

Deckaid Boston was held on June 14th 2016 at Orchard Skateshop’s extension gallery. All proceeds from the show were given to Horizons For Homeless Children, a nonprofit charity in Boston that helps children mitigate the trauma and stress associated with being homeless.

Deckaid Philly was held on December 4th, 2015 at EXIT Skateshop. All proceeds from the show were given to Skateistan, an international NGO that targets youth aged 5 to 17 with a focus on girls, children living with a disability, and children from low income backgrounds. Their four core programs aim to keep children and youth involved at Skateistan for the long term. As participants get older, they become role models to the younger students and to the wider community.

Deckaid NYC was held on June 27th 2015 at Sideshow Gallery. All proceeds from the show were given to Skateistan, an international NGO that targets youth aged 5 to 17 with a focus on girls, children living with a disability, and children from low income backgrounds. Their four core programs aim to keep children and youth involved at Skateistan for the long term. As participants get older, they become role models to the younger students and to the wider community.
